I am an auto dealer. How can I use your products?

Posted on: July 22, 2010

Jill McSheehy, of Cogswell Motors, says…

“We use the standard and jumbo postcards for sales and service related promotions… with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Word.  I continue to use you because of the competitive price and the ease of ordering and shipping.  You guys have always been good at checking up on me to see if I need anything without “hassling” like some companies do.  We have found that postcards are more economical and have a better response than letters, which is why we continue to use them.”

Blank postcards are an effective, easy and inexpensive way to reach buyers and customers to:

  • Announce sales incentives and special offers
  • Mail out service department reminders
  • Thank customers for their loyalty

Gain Speed, Control and Cost Savings
By printing postcards in-house, you can quickly respond to competitive offers and market changes, while saving time and cost.  And, no special equipment is required. You could mail a postcard for less than the cost of a first-class stamp!*

What is the distinction between when you are able to use the $.26 post card postage rate and the $.44 regular rate?

Posted on: July 19, 2010

Q:  What is the distinction between when you are able to use the $.26 post card postage rate and the $.44 regular rate. Do you have to have one blank side to qualify for the postcard rate when it is mailing?

A:  The current postcard rate is $0.28.  Your card must be between 3.5”-4.25” high and 5”-6” long.  You can have printing on both sides as long as there is still room for the address and postal bar code information.

We are seeking postcards which we can print on the inside and fold the postcard in half and place the address on the outside of the postcard and seal.

Posted on: June 3, 2010

Q:  We are seeking postcards which we can print on the inside and fold the postcard in half and place the address on the outside of the postcard and seal. The information is for billing so we wanted to be able to fold the postcard over to cover the information printed on the inside.

A:  Our Double Postcards should work well for this.  They come 2up on an 8.5 x 11″ sheet of paper and measure 4.25 x 5.5″ when folded.  Stickers are included for easy sealing.

What are the post office’s requirements for mailing postcards?

Posted on: March 4, 2010

In order to qualify for postcard rate postage (currently $0.28), the United States Postal Service requires small postcards (4 1/4″ x 6″ or less) to be made from paper that has a 7pt thickness or greater. All of the Burris Four-of-a-Kind Postcards™ meet this requirement.

Large postcards (greater than 4 1/4″ x 6″) are required to be made from paper that has a 9pt thickness or greater. All of the Burris Print On Demand Jumbo Postcards™ meet this requirement. The Jumbo Postcards must be mailed at first-class postage (currently $0.44).
