The postcards can be purchased, printed in-house by the user, and mailed for a total of 35¢, less than the cost of a first-class stamp alone. Users can design and print the blank postcards with any message using many different software programs (including Microsoft Word® & Microsoft Publisher®) on a copier, ink jet, or laser printer. The blank forms can be used for several different mailings throughout the year.
The blank forms are available on 8 ½” x 11″ sheets perforated two times, for easy separating, yielding four postcards. Colors include White (three grades), Baby Blue, Classy Cream, Cool Gray, Key Lime, Rose Wine, Sockeye Salmon, Wild Canary, Goldenrod, Popping Pink, Sonic Green, Tangerine, and Sun Shine. Some colors are made from 10% or 30% post-consumer recycled content.
