By the Note Card template going one way and the Note Cards another do you mean the orientation (landscape vs. portrait)? If so, you may try one of two things: 1) see if you can turn the paper around and feed it through the printer in the other direction (i.e. if inserting top first try putting it in sideways), 2) if that doesn’t work try changing the orientation of the template, change from portrait to landscape.
Depending on your printer, the colored ink can do fairly well on colored paper. If you would like to do a test print, you may request samples, before purchasing.
Create-n-Hang Door Hangers™ – Punch Out Circle are for laser printers only, as the missing hole can cause problems in inkjet printers. Door hangers with Tags and cards are offered in the Punch Out Circle style, which only work in laser printers.
Create-n-Hang Door Hangers™ – Die Cut X – Three Per Page and Create-n-Hang Door Hangers™ – Die Cut X – Two Per Page will work in both laser and inkjet printers. There may be a slightly smaller chance of jams using a laser printer. UPDATE – These products are no longer available
Create-n-Hang Door Hangers™ – Perfed X – Three Per Page and Create-n-Hang Door Hangers™ – Perfed X – Two Per Page work in both laser and inkjet printers. Be sure to verify the printer will support the cardstock weight, using our Find Your Paper tool. Most of the door hangers are around 165 gsm, except for the styles with the tags orcards and the Punch Out Circle Glossy Heavy for Laser Printers, which are 216gsm.
The perfed and punched out circles are probably the most universal, in that they can be used on nearly every style door knob. The ‘X’ style in more secure, less likely to get blown off the door but will only work on know style or open handle door knobs, will not work on some screen doors that have the closed handle.

In order to print cardstock, you will need to change your printer settings, i.e. change to a thick or heavy cardstock setting. This will allow the ink to better adhere to the paper.
If your printer is having trouble feeding the paper or printing clearly, try using the “manual” or “by pass tray” on it.
These typically will handle and print heavier paper, because they feed 1 sheet or just a few sheets at a time, at a slower, more direct path through the printer. Also, you can check your printer settings to see if there is a “Heavy Paper” option.
Yes, we have our new Note Card – Premium Matte Inkjet (Item # NC-PMI), that is specially designed to print bright, vivid colors and photographs using your inkjet printer. These cards will print brilliant, detailed images that look very realistic.
You will notice on one side of the brochure the score is a groove and on the other a ‘bump.’ You want to fold towards the bump so that is on the inside leaving the smooth groove as the outside of your fold. You will also notice one panel is slightly smaller than the others, you will want this to be your inside panel.
Doing a mail merge of your address list is the best way to do this. According to wikipedia.org, mail merge is a software function describing the production of multiple (and potentially large numbers of) documents from a single template form and a structured data source. This helps to create personalized letters and pre-addressed envelopes or mailing labels for mass mailings from a database mailing list of names and addresses.
We encourage you to use the “Mail Merge Wizard.” Follow the instructions based on the program you’re using.
• Word 2000/20003 – under Tools, Mail Merge;
• Word 2007 – under Mailings, Start Mail Merge;
• Publisher 2000/2003 – under Mail Merge;
• Publisher 2007 – under Tools, Mailing and Catalogs, Mail Merge
Steps to complete a mail merge:
Step 1: Choose a document type and main document
Step 2: Connect to a data file (spreadsheet or database) and select records
Step 3: Add fields to the main document
Step 4: Preview the merge and then complete it
We offer templates in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher format. The templates can provide you with easy guidelines on where to layout designs for your forms. You can find all of our templates in our “Templates” section. If printing postcards, be sure to leave 5/8″ free of any print at the bottom of the postcard to accommodate the USPS’s marking area.
