Do Shipping Label Sheets Come In Metric Sizes?

by Chelsea Camper | Last Updated November 3, 2023

Shipping label sheets come in many sizes, some are even custom cut to meet your unique needs! For those who ship internationally or ship small products, you might be looking for a metric sheet with labels integrated into them.

Guess what? Metric label sheets exist! You can get A4 size paper with labels built into it that can be easily peeled off and affixed to a package.

The most common US label sheet sizes are Letter, Legal, and Tabloid. For those who ship internationally, two common metric sizes are A4 and A5.

The A4 metric size is a 210x297mm sheet of paper. It’s a little skinner and a little taller than the US standard letter size paper. This thinner size can help companies that ship jewelry, small electronics, CDs, and other small items easily insert an invoice or packing list into the box.

While you can get any custom sized label sheet by placing a custom order with Burris, we also offer several metric label sheet layouts. These layouts are on A4 size paper and have 1 – 2 labels per sheet. Two layouts come with or without a perforation.

Label sheets can help you speed up your order fulfillment while also increasing order accuracy. Order fulfillment is sped up by not having your pickers and packers trying to mix and match labels with the right packages; the packing information and shipping label can be all on one page. Since all of the information is on one page, there’s less of a chance that a shipping label will be paired with the wrong packing list and package.
