print pick ticket and packing slip

Question: My company would like to start printing our packing list on the computer but I’m not sure which of your products would best fit our needs. We are using Microsoft Word 2002 and a laser printer.  We will need to be able to hand the customer a copy after they sign. What do you advise?

Any shipping label sheet would work. It’s easy to get started with a  shipping label sheet template for Microsoft Word. A popular label sheet form features a 2 1/2″ x 4″ label (in top right corner or bottom left corner). It fits the need for an address label perfectly, and you can perform a mail merge to print out several orders at once.

If you are using a printer with 2 trays or feeds to speed up order fulfillment, you can print 2 copies of the packing list:

a) one copy printed on a shipping label sheet

b) another copy printed on a sheet of plain paper

If your customer doesn’t need a signed copy, then you can either print out a second copy of the packing slip or simply make a copy for the customer. This last method would work best if the customer needs to have a copy with his signature.
