Recently several different shipping carriers have been increasing their rates. We’re going to wrap them all up in a nice little post here that will be updated for the next couple months when/if there are more major rate increases for the last half of 2012shipping carrier rate increases for 2012

So who started these recent rate increases? Well, it all started with FedEx’s freight rate increase of 6.9%. Next up was UPS’s freight increase of 5.9% and most recently, Old Dominion’s 4.9% base rate increase.
