Streamline your order fulfillment: Combine

by Raki Wright | Last Updated December 30, 2015

As we mentioned at the start of this series, the best way to simplify order fulfillment is to use a form that can include all three elements.

This is especially important if YOU (and only you) are the order fulfillment department.

Whether you are an ebay seller, Amazon.com seller, or have your own online store, you have to get thing done efficiently.

How many times has this happened to you?simplify order fulfillment combine

  • You have several orders to get out.
  • You have to prepare shipping labels.
  • You have to prepare invoices.
  • You have to prepare packing lists.
  • Then, you gather your shipping supplies.
  • You have to pull and pack the items with the invoice or packing list.
  • THEN you have to match it up with the correct shipping labels (you hope).

There has to be a simpler way!

Instead of printing your shipping label, invoice, and packing list on three separate sheets of paper, you can combine your shipping forms onto one sheet of paper. Not only does this save you printing time and money on paper, it keeps thing more organized and allows you to print, Print, Pack, and Ship all from the same form.

When you print your own you can also customize order fulfillment pack slip / shipping label layout to include your company’s logo and contact information. This will help your customers remember who you are and give them an easy way to come back to you next time they need your product.

You can use an LS-U to start off since it’s one of the most universal labels. It is compatible with:

  • UPS®
  • FEDEX®
  • USPS®
  • CLICK-N-SHIP®
  • EBAY®
  • PAYPAL®
  • ENDICIA®
  • STAMPS.COM®
  • And other major shippers
