As a custom job of 2,500 sheets or more, we could produce an 11″ x 17″ sheet with perforations, yielding 3 postcards, which measure 3 2/3″ x 5 2/3″ each.  These individual postcards would still meet the USPS regulations for postcard rate, which is $0.28 as of May 11, 2009.  If you need more information, please contact us or call 1-800-982-3676.

Can I use your papers in my Canon printer?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated June 29, 2010

Your Canon printer can likely handle any of our papers.  To build our database of printer specifications, we check manufacturer websites and other resources.  Canon does not generally state what paper weights each printer can handle.  Rather, they state which Canon papers each printer can accommodate.  Most inkjet printers, including Canon, can handle very heavy paper, up to 300 gsm.  Our paper weights range from 125 gsm to 219 gsm.    If you need more information, please contact us or we would be happy to send samples for testing.

Is your note card paper for an ink jet or laser printer?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated June 28, 2010

Unless otherwise specified, our NoteCards are both inkjet and laser compatible.

The Four-of-a-Kind Postcards™ 100% Recycled are 9pt, 216 gsm.  The Four-of-a-Kind Postcards™ Premium Heavy Matte are 8.9 pt, 216 gsm.  So, they are virtually the same thickness & weight.

What is paper thickness?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated June 24, 2010

Thickness defines the bulkiness of a sheet. Also known as caliper, this is the thickness of a single sheet of paper, as measured in thousandths of an inch.

Q:  I’m looking for “peel out” packing list labels that are oriented landscape rather than portrait. We print two packing lists per page, and since the barcode is at the bottom of each packing list, we need peel out labels which are stacked vertically on the right side of a portrait layout.

A:  The following layouts feature two labels on the right side of a portrait layout:

LS-B, LS-BwPerf, LS-D, LS-DwPerf, LS-3.5B2, LS-3.5X1.5B2, LS-4B2

Burris Computer Forms® Announces New 11″ x 17″ BiFolds

by Raki Wright | Last Updated June 22, 2010

Burris Computer Forms® announces Burris Blank Printable 11″ x 17″ BiFolds ™, a new product.

The new blank, printable BiFolds are printable in-house on users’ own PCs. Any inkjet or laser printer or copier can be used as long as they can handle the 11″ x 17″ format. The advantages of printing BiFolds in-house include fast turnaround, low cost, and control of the project. You also have the ability to print a few, or thousands, quickly and cost-effectively. Companies and individuals use Burris BiFolds11x17 as an easy and convenient way to deliver a message.

A BiFold brochure–also known as a book fold brochure–is made by folding an 11″ x 17″ sheet of paper once, creating two equal halves. Many marketing professionals use BiFold Brochures for the flexibility of its format. BiFolds make great flyers, brochures, menus, information pamphlets, marketing campaigns, and oversize greeting cards.

The BiFolds are 11″ x 17″ sheets scored once for easy folding to yield an 8.5″ x 11″ finished size. This stock is made from white cardstock paper for quality text, graphics, and images.

Do you carry 1/4 fold card stock?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated June 22, 2010

No, we carry single, double, jumbo/2-per-page, and 4-per-page postcards.  All of our blank postcard paper is specially selected and tested for easy feeding and crisp printing using your own laser or inkjet printers or copiers. Our products are also compatible with copiers capable of handling postcard paper. Once printed and separated, each postcard meets all USPS requirements for mailing a first class postcard.

We also have notecards, half-folds, and greeting cards.  These are perfect for all occasions because you get to print your own message on them.  Blank products can be used for multiple mailings throughout the year.

We carry single cards, which measure 4″ x 6″ and are available in three grades of white paper.  These cards require no folding or tearing to separate and work on inkjet and laser printers (except the glossy, which is laser only).

Q:  Do you offer an 8 1/2″ X 14″ pre-printed sheet with a pull out label with perf, that could work as a UPS ship label and return label?

A:  We would recommend the Peel Out! Shipping Label Sheet (Item#LS-ULTPS).  It is an 8 1/2″ X 14″ sheet with one 7 1/2″ X 5 1/8″ label.  It features One Horizontal perforation, which is 6″ from the top of the sheet.  It works with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS Click-N-Ship. When this product is out of stock, it will be discontinued as a stock item. You can still order it as a customer job with a minimum quantity of 5,000.
