Here are some ideas you can use to make your gift tags stand out.
Add an Inside Joke
Do you have an inside joke with your friends and family? Does a simple word like “salamander” or “corn muffins” bring you and your friends to tears in laughter? Why not add the joke to the back of the tag?
A simple joke is always a good way to get someone smiling! You can print as many tags with your joke as you want. Five friends in on the “salamander” joke? Design your tag layout to only print five tags with “salamander” on the back. When you print your own you have control over how many of each kind of tag is printed.
Add a Small Image
It can be hard to put an image on small tags, but if you use a small, high quality, low detail image, you should be able to do it! Are you and three of your closest friends planning to go to New York this holiday season? Add a skyline of New York or the New York state outline to the gift tags for those three friends.

Has someone you know ever said something so jaw dropping you’ve engraved it in your mind? Some kind of quote that fills you with emotion? Ask their permission to use it on your gift tags this year; don’t forget to give them credit for the quote!

Change Up the Colors
Are some of your friends or family completely obsessed with a certain color? Print their gift tags out in that certain color to make their tags personal and unique.
