how to use membership card template

I don’t understand how to use the membership card template.  Help!

Blank printable membership cards can be printed by using one’s own PC and printer. The user can create his/her own membership card content and layout using existing software such as Microsoft® WORD or Publisher ®, and print immediately using his/her own printer. No additional hardware or software is required.

Blank templates allow users to create custom membership cards, often utilizing a mail merge letter.

Step 1: Find a membership card template:

Download membership cards 1 per page

Download membership cards 2 per page

Step 2:  Format membership card:

  • Click into the letter portion of the sheet.
  • Format your document, like you would a letter, including company logo, return address, recipient/member address, and include detailed benefits of membership.
  • Click into the image of the membership card.  Right click and choose Add Text.
  • Use the Mail Merge Wizard, if desired, to have the membership cards filled with data from mail merge.
  • Personalize card as desired with graphics and / or text.  To remove printed border around membership card, select card, right click, choose Format AutoShape, and Change Line Color to No Color.
  • Go to File, then Print Preview to view before printing.

Step 3: Print.

Can I recycle…shipping label sheets?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated March 1, 2011

recycle shipping label sheets

When reading this article on the LA Times’ blog, the question came up of whether shipping label sheets can be recycled.  The answer…

We have found that you should ask your municipality if something is recyclable. In our area, we were told that shipping label sheets (and an empty sheet after you have peeled all of the labels off), are recyclable. So, we would suggest you check with your locality about any item in question.

Do you have physical inventory tags?

by Raki Wright | Last Updated January 13, 2011

Q:  Do you have physical inventory tags?

A:  We offer 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ forms (4 per sheet) in several grades of white and several colors.  One of our customers shared his great experience using them:

“The printing was flawless.  I thought I might have an issue due to the thickness of the stock, but it was perfect.  My only other concern was a bar code I printed on the tag and whether it could be read.  Once again, there were no issues.

The forms were used to create inventory tags for a physical inventory.  Each sheet was used to create two (2) two-part tags.  The tags were separated horizontally to be sorted.  A tag number in the form of a bar code was scanned and then the inventory was scanned for that tag.  After each card was filled in on both sides of the perforation, the perforation allowed us to easily separate the tags.  One remained with the inventory, while the other was sent to tag control for entry. This was a great improvement in our previous process of stapling tags together and then pulling them apart.

I cannot say enough about the service I received in ordering the product and having it delivered on time.  Any delay would have cause a major inconvenience and expense to my organization.”
