Printing Shipping Labels with Your Company Logo.

by Chelsea Camper | Last Updated December 30, 2015

Printing your company logo onto your shipping label helps your customer more easily identify who the package is coming from without having to open it. It can also help advertise your brand since the package will be handled by many people before your customer receives it.

There are three ways you can get your logo on the shipping label:

  • Have the shipping label sheets pre-printed for you
  • Pre-print the shipping labels yourselfadd logo to shipping label 300
  • Include your logo into your custom shipping label sheet template

Each of these three methods have Pros and Cons that should be considered to find which is the best fit for your company.

Have the Label Sheets Pre-Printed for You

By getting a custom text and/or design for your label sheets you can have the logo printed on them before you even get the shipping label sheets.

Pros:

  • You don’t have to print the logo
  • The sheets are ready to go when you get them
  • Don’t have to worry about running them through your laser printer

Cons:

  • Can sometimes cost a little more
  • Have to allow a little extra time for sheets to be printed

Pre-Print the Shipping Labels Yourself

Once you get the blank sheets you can bulk pre-print them all with your logo. Remember! Running a shipping label sheet through a laser printer twice can be dangerous; you should pre-print the logo with an inkjet printer then use a laser printer to print the shipping label.

Pros:

  • Can get them faster
  • Are a little cheaper

Cons:

  • MUST use inkjet to pre-print
  • Takes extra time to pre-print every sheet
  • Will cost you in ink

Print the Logo as Part of Your Shipping Label Template

If you already have a custom label sheet template you use to print your shipping label sheets, then all you need to do is add in the logo.

Pros:

  • Get sheets faster than pre-printed
  • Sheets are cheaper than pre-printed
  • Don’t have to spend extra time pre-printing every sheet with your logo

Cons:

  • You’ll spend a little more in ink/toner per order
  • Your template system might not allow for an image to be inserted into it
