Sheet Labels vs. Roll Labels.

Using labels by the sheet has some distinct advantages over roll labels. For starters you can have the shipping label and invoice on the same sheet. By having the shipping label and invoice together on one piece of paper you can:

  • Increase productivity. Both the invoice and label on one sheet for pickers and packers.
  • Increase accuracy. No searching for labels and no mismatch of invoice and shipping labels (don’t have to worry about incorrectly billing the customer).

So what are some other advantages label sheets have over roll labels?

With Roll Labels:print pack slip and label directly on same form

  • Your packing list needs to be printed on a separate sheet
  • Still have to match the packing list with its shipping label
  • Sometimes people use UPS system
  • Need special roll label printer
  • Not easily customizable
  • Can’t include invoice with shipping label

With Sheet Labels:

  • Eliminate errors by keeping invoice and shipping label together
  • Increase efficiency by having shipping, billing, and packing information all on one sheet
  • UPS will come setup a new system for you (that works with Shipping label sheets)
  • Easy to ?integrate? your system
  • Can use regular inkjet or laser printer
  • Easy to customize with company logo or return information
  • Packing list can be on same sheet

Label sheets make it easier for your warehouse to pick, pack, and ship the right products to the right customers while reducing your paper costs.
